Your Role

As a Graduate Engineer Trainee at Henkel, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support to Power and Life Science customers within India. Your responsibilities will include:

Providing technical support to customers both on-site and virtually.
Performing routine tests and analysis with a focus on thermal interface material, potting compounds, conformal coatings, encapsulants, structural and elastomeric adhesives.
Maintaining technical expertise and skills that align with the SBU/SU strategy.
Reporting laboratory results and methods according to accepted standards and communicating these to internal and external customers.
Preparing test matrices, conducting various tests using lab equipment, and analyzing the results using digital tools like Albert, Nautilus, and ACE to submit test reports.
Responding quickly to customer and field AE test requests and providing qualified test reports.
Conducting all laboratory work safely, including using proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), adhering to site safety practices, using laboratory equipment, and performing lab equipment maintenance and calibration activities.
Effectively collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
Managing various adhesive dispensing equipment that handles HMA, TIM, Silicone, Modified Silane, and Anaerobic chemistry.

Your Skills

A Bachelor’s degree in Polymer Chemistry or a relevant field.
0-1 year of related experience, preferably in laboratory experience or technical services in a lab.
The ability to work independently, communicate effectively with laboratory members, and maintain organized records and reports.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications.
The ability to understand products associated with assigned technologies.
Excellent hands-on and equipment competency.
