Your Role
As a Graduate Engineer Trainee at Henkel, you will
play a crucial role in providing technical support to Power and Life Science
customers within India. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing technical support to customers both on-site and virtually.
- Performing routine tests and analysis with a focus on thermal
interface material, potting compounds, conformal coatings, encapsulants,
structural and elastomeric adhesives.
- Maintaining technical expertise and skills that align with the
SBU/SU strategy.
- Reporting laboratory results and methods according to accepted
standards and communicating these to internal and external customers.
- Preparing test matrices, conducting various tests using lab
equipment, and analyzing the results using digital tools like Albert,
Nautilus, and ACE to submit test reports.
- Responding quickly to customer and field AE test requests and
providing qualified test reports.
- Conducting all laboratory work safely, including using proper
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), adhering to site safety practices,
using laboratory equipment, and performing lab equipment maintenance and
calibration activities.
- Effectively collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Managing various adhesive dispensing equipment that handles HMA,
TIM, Silicone, Modified Silane, and Anaerobic chemistry.
Your Skills
To excel in this role, you should have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Polymer Chemistry or a relevant field.
- 0-1 year of related experience, preferably in laboratory experience
or technical services in a lab.
- The ability to work independently, communicate effectively with
laboratory members, and maintain organized records and reports.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, with the
ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications.
- The ability to understand products associated with assigned
technologies.
- Excellent hands-on and equipment competency.
