Job Description

Amazon's Supply Chain Analytics, Product and Research (SHARP) team leads innovative projects across multiple countries, including Brazil, Mexico, Australia, the Middle East, South Africa, Turkey, Japan, and India. Their mission is to support end-to-end supply chain optimizations and provide the world’s most customer-centric experience.

The SHARP team aims to place inventory at the right place, in the right quantity, and at the right time. To achieve this, they build analytical products to audit and improve systems responsible for inventory placement, develop statistical models (forecasting, classification, and recommendation), and create simulation frameworks to support A/B testing and drive improvements within the supply chain.

Key Job Responsibilities

As a Business Analyst Intern, you will be engaged in analytical tasks that provide support to Supply Chain operations. Your responsibilities will include:

·         BI Products Development and Maintenance: Work on the development and upkeep of business intelligence products.

·         Customer Interaction and Feature Mapping: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand customer requirements and map out features.

·         Ad-Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad-hoc analyses to investigate system decisions and assess the impact of various metrics.

Candidates can work out of Amazon’s office in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

Basic Qualifications

To qualify for this role, you must have:

1.      Excellent skills in SQL, Tableau, Excel, Quicksight, or other data visualization tools.

2.      Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good logical thinking.

3.      Basic understanding of at least one scripting language, such as Python.

4.      Excellent written English skills.

5.      Pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative or technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Management System, Engineering, Statistics).

Preferred candidates will have:

1.      The ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

2.      Experience with AWS services including S3, Redshift, and Apache Spark.
