Responsibilities of a Diploma Engineering Trainee – Operations

As a Diploma Engineering Trainee in Operations, you will:

Define sets of operations to produce products as per the quality and quantitative requirements.
Ensure safety at the workplace and be willing to work in shifts.
Use and handle company assets safely and neatly without causing harm or damage to yourself, other employees, or company assets.
Identify abnormalities such as machine malfunctioning, abnormal noise or smell, and inform the available supervisor.
Update the Lean Production Management System (LPMS) board periodically for the daily production report for your working area.
Actively involve yourself in improvement projects in concerned areas.
Follow 5S practices and keep the work area neat and clean during every shift.

Qualifications Required

To be successful in this role, you should have:

A full-time diploma in Engineering in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial.
Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in MS Office.
The ability to operate a computer and perform data entry related to manufacturing.
Participation and support in Open Eyes and Kaizen activities.
The ability to read, write, and speak in English and local languages (Marathi and Hindi) to understand work instructions.
Good communication skills.
The ability to work cohesively with the team.
