Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Master Data Analyst, you will be part of the Finance Services business for the Finance and Accounting Operations division based in Bangalore, India. In this role, you will report to the Accounting and Reporting Manager Accounts Receivable and will be responsible for supporting account receivables and/or credit activities in line with defined strategies, policies, and procedures. You will manage and analyze accounts receivable data, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with relevant accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Management: Updating and maintaining customer data records in the database, including customer contact details, addresses, billing information, credit limits, and other relevant data as per ABB policy.
Data Audits: Performing regular data audits and validations to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of customer data. Identifying and rectifying any data discrepancies or errors.
Data Governance: Implementing and enforcing data governance policies and procedures related to customer data as laid down by ABB.
Collaboration: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate customer data across various systems and platforms, ensuring data consistency and synchronization.
Reporting: Generating reports and providing insights on customer data metrics, trends, and patterns to support decision-making processes.
Process Improvement: Identifying areas for process improvement related to customer data management. Proposing and implementing solutions to enhance data quality, efficiency, and accuracy.
Training: Developing and delivering training materials and documentation related to customer data management processes and best practices.

Your Background and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should have:

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
Experience: 0 to 1 years of experience in Order to Cash process (O2C), covering Customer Master Data, reconciliation, collection management, reporting, and accounting.
Flexibility: Must be flexible in working for any shift timings.
Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy, knowledge of data governance principles and practices, and familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
