IBM is actively
seeking a Software Developer for their Bangalore location! This role involves
crucial responsibilities and specific requirements.
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Troubleshooting and analyzing customer issues.
- Managing customer expectations and
relationships.
- Setting up test scenarios to duplicate problems
and composing knowledge base articles detailing reported issues and
resolutions.
- Escalating defects to Level 3 for review and
facilitating communication and fixes between the customer and Level 3
support.
- Providing weekend support (on rotation) for
production-down scenarios.
Requirements:
- 0-3 years of experience.
- Preferably skilled in Core Java/JEE or any
programming language.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting, especially Java
code/logs, Database troubleshooting (DB2 or Oracle), and JMS/MQ
troubleshooting.
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new
on-prem and cloud products.
- Knowledge in JSON, XML, SQL, Web Servers,
WebSphere Liberty, Oracle, and DB2.
- Understanding of Linux, DevOps,
GitHub/enterprise deployments, performance issue handling, with a
preference for Automotive domain understanding.
- Mandatory familiarity with the Software
Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
