Role: Product RF Design Engineer
Responsibilities
As a Product
RF Design Engineer at Apple, you will:
- Apply deep theoretical and practical
knowledge in RF and wireless circuit design.
- Utilize electromagnetic and system
simulation, hands-on prototyping, and test and measurement for
understanding complex system interactions.
- Collaborate closely with wireless and
software architects, industrial designers, and product designers.
- Optimise RF/Wireless functionality for
end-users.
- Travel up to 15% of the time to provide
support for overseas manufacturing facilities during the prototype phase
to mass production.
Requirements
To be
eligible for this role, candidates should have:
- BE/BTech or Equivalent Education.
- Coursework or experience in antenna/RF
design, wireless communications, EM, or circuits.
- Knowledge of EM or RF hardware or antenna
design.
- Familiarity with the integration of
wireless technologies such as cellular, GPS, WiFi, and NFC into products.
- Understanding of RF schematic and PCB
layout practices and guidelines.
