Job Overview

Position: Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) Date: 27th October 2023 Location: Vadodara, Gujarat, India, 389350 Company: Hero Motocorp Function: Operations Pay Band: E4 to M2

Your Role as a GET

As the TM/LINE INCHARGE-PAINT, you will be a crucial part of the Plant Operations team, reporting to the Section Head of the Paint Shop. Your primary role will involve managing production factors like manpower, production tools, and inventory efficiently while adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs) within the Paint Shop function.

Key Responsibilities

1. Serve as the focal point for Frame Assembly operations within the company.

2. Coordinate work with direct reportees, workmen, contractors, support departments, and management to ensure the timely delivery of quality products to customers.

3. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

4. Implement Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and process improvements to reduce setup and machining times.

5. Collaborate with production planning, execution, estimating, and reporting.

6. Be prepared for shift operations in both A and B shifts.

Academic Qualification & Experience

B.Tech in Paint Technology or Chemical Engineering, or
Diploma in Paint Technology or Chemical Engineering

Technical Skills/Knowledge

1. Experience with Integrated Management Systems (IMS), including ISO and OHSAS standards, and documentation.

2. Familiarity with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).

3. Knowledge of safety practices and Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA).

4. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.

Behavioural Skills

1. Proficiency in the Gujarati language to interact with primarily Gujarati-based manpower.

2. Attention to detail.

3. Comfortable working in both A and B shifts.

4. A behavioral-based safety approach.
