Structured Credit Trading Team:

The Structured Credit Trading Team at Barclays focuses on trading bespoke structured products and providing financing solutions. The Mumbai team plays a crucial role in end-to-end Risk Management, including funding risk, capital management, exposure management, and in-depth risk analysis.

Role Overview:

This two-month internship involves supporting traders in building and maintaining analytical tools, overseeing risk and trading management of live trades, and collaborating with global counterparts.

Key Accountabilities:

Help build and optimize analytical tools for desk traders.
Build and maintain trade and booking databases.
Develop an in-depth understanding of all risk types in the business.
Oversee risk and trading management of live trades.

Stakeholder Management:

Interact with counterparts globally and work with regional teams to understand requirements, develop new products, and enhance existing tools.

Decision-making and Problem Solving:

Meticulously handle time-sensitive activities efficiently.

Risk and Control Objective:

Take ownership of managing risk and strengthening controls in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal Barclays Policies.
