About Microsoft Engage Mentorship Program

Microsoft is offering exciting opportunities for interns through the Engage Mentorship Program. This program provides multiple engagement and evaluation touchpoints, allowing participants to interact with Microsoft mentors, leaders, and fellow interns throughout its duration. Based on your consistency and performance during the program, you may be offered the opportunity to interview and intern with Microsoft India.

Eligibility Criteria for Microsoft Engage 2023

To be eligible for the Microsoft Engage Mentorship Program in 2023, you must meet the following criteria:

You should be graduating in 2024 and enrolled in a full-time engineering program, including Bachelors, Masters, Integrated Dual Degree, or related degrees.
Your cumulative grade point average (CGPA) should be 6 or above.

Microsoft Engage Challenges

As part of the program, you can choose one challenge from the three options provided below. You have the freedom to use any technology, framework, programming language(s), database(s), and cloud platform of your choice to complete the challenge:

Face Recognition: Develop either a browser-based web application or a native mobile application that showcases the application of Face Recognition technology. You have the flexibility to apply Face Recognition in any area of your choice.
Data Analysis: Create an application that demonstrates how the Automotive Industry can utilize data to make informed decisions. You can choose to work with the provided dataset, use an open-source dataset you have access to, or create your own.
Algorithms: Showcase different types of algorithms that a web-streaming app (like Netflix) or an audio-streaming app (like Spotify) might use for their Recommendation Engine.

Selection Process for Microsoft Engage Internship

The selection process for the Microsoft Engage Mentorship Program involves three steps:

Resume Shortlisting: Submit your application and resume through the Microsoft career portal. If you meet the criteria, you will receive a link for Online Test 1. To increase your chances, include 2-3 projects in your resume and structure your coding profiles on any platform.
Online Test 1: Online Test 1 comprises 10 multiple-choice questions to be solved within 30 minutes. The test covers topics like Basic Data Structures and Algorithms, including Stack, Queue, Trees (mainly traversal algorithms), Sorting, Binary Search, and Priority Queues.
Online Test 2: In this round, you will face three puzzle-type questions that require time complexity analysis. You need to provide a typed explanation for all three questions.

While the selection process is competitive, it's an excellent opportunity to showcase your skills and join Microsoft's Engage Mentorship Program.
