2024 Summer Intern - Environmental Engineering Intern

As an Environmental Engineering Intern at Bechtel, you will be part of multi-disciplinary teams, contributing to various environmental engineering tasks. These tasks require individuals with a keen eye for detail and a diverse skill set, including in-depth technical expertise, flexibility, enthusiasm for both individual and team tasks, and strong analytical problem-solving capabilities.

Your responsibilities will include providing assistance in areas such as water and wastewater systems, air emissions, environmental impact assessments, and compliance with environmental regulatory requirements.

What You Can Expect

Location: The specific locations may vary based on project needs and could include Houston, TX, Reston, VA, or various project sites.
Job Duties: You will perform assignments that enhance your professional knowledge and abilities. Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Science degree program in Chemical or Environmental Engineering at an accredited college or university.
Willingness to relocate and/or travel to domestic and international project job sites.
Eligibility to work and remain in the U.S. with visa sponsorship, now or in the future.
Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks.

Preferred Qualifications:

Enrollment in a Master of Science degree program in Chemical or Environmental Engineering.
Completion of relevant coursework with a strong GPA.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
