Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in relevant STEM field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Management Information Systems) or equivalent practical experience.
Experience working with Databases, Web Technologies, Machine Learning, AI, or Cloud Foundations (e.g. cloud computing) through certifications, internships, coursework, or relevant practical experience.
Experience in customer service, communication, or leadership.
Ability to speak and write English fluently.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience developing programs/scripts in C++, Java, Python, SQL, or experience in infrastructure/system administration.
Experience building or troubleshooting websites or web applications using web technologies (e.g., HTTP(S), JavaScript, APIs, TCP/IP, DNS).
Experience in systems software and algorithms, working with Linux/Unix. Experience in database design and SQL query construction.
Experience leading entrepreneurial efforts, outreach within organizations, and/or in project/product/program management.
Ability to adapt your message to stakeholders and present technical materials. Demonstrate organizational, problem-solving, or troubleshooting skills.

About the role: Cloud Technical Residents play a crucial role in providing technical expertise across Google Cloud's products to customers. They showcase the value of Google Cloud, deploy technology, and offer ongoing support to customers. This role allows you to work in various Google Cloud roles under experienced mentors' guidance. Before diving into different roles, you will receive extensive training to ensure you can add value from the first day of customer engagements.

The program includes rotations that offer opportunities in implementation, advisory, and support services to customers across various industries and scales. You might also get the chance to develop tools, demos, and assets for customers. Throughout the program, you'll have personal and professional development opportunities. This includes building business and technical skills, automating and scaling processes, creating custom solutions, and providing insights to Google's internal Sales and Product teams.
