Job Description Summary:

Software Intern: Building the Future of Healthcare

As a Software Intern at G.E Healthcare, you'll become an integral part of our global software development team. Your role will encompass designing, building, delivering, and maintaining software applications and services. You'll have the opportunity to work in areas such as machine learning, cloud computing, platforms, and applications. Key responsibilities include:

Contributing to the entire software lifecycle, from requirement analysis to implementation.
Writing code that aligns with industry standards and delivers the intended functionality.
Understanding and assessing application performance.
Implementing core data structures and algorithms using your chosen programming language.

Familiarity with SDLC methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring, and Testing Techniques.
Writing code that meets industry standards and delivers the intended functionality.
Proficiency in assessing application performance.
Implementing core data structures and algorithms using your programming language of choice.

Required Qualification:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or STEM Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math).
Freshers are encouraged to apply.

Desired Qualification:

Scripting skills (Shell).
Any exposure to Linux will be advantageous.
