Analyst, Business Management

Tower Research Capital, a
high-frequency proprietary trading firm founded in 1998, seeks an Analyst to join
our Business Management team in the Gurgaon office. The role will provide the
right candidate with an opportunity to gain experience in a growing industry,
to collaborate with the firm’s senior management to develop their skills and
market knowledge.
Responsibilities
The Analyst will report to
Tower’s Director of Business Management (India) as part of the covering the
NSE, BSE & MCX and will work on a variety of tasks, including:
- Supporting the day-to-day business operations
of Tower’s securities trading in the region by collaborating on a wide
variety of projects
- Managing exchange memberships, and coordinating
onboarding and connectivity requirements
- Reconciling trading costs and allocations
across trading teams
- Contributing to research into new products and
forecasting of potential business opportunities and projects
- Analyzing market trends and upcoming changes to
measure the effect on Tower’s business
- Analyzing exchange circulars on daily
basis
- Delivering projects designed to expand and
enhance Tower’s trading activity across a variety of trading destinations
- Updating and maintaining market summaries,
exchange fee schedules and agreements
- Preparation of Dashboards and reports for
management analysis.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be a
motivated university graduate with a bachelor’s or advanced degree with
mandatory 1-2 years of professional experience with stock exchange, Depository
or stock broking Industry. They will have a track record of success, and be
able to demonstrate:
- Excellent communication skills and the ability
to manage and build relationships with key stakeholders
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
including data analysis tools and spreadsheet modeling
- Understanding of and enthusiasm for trading
technology, financial markets and market structure
- Project management capabilities with strong
attention to detail and experience presenting data to assist in strategic
decision-making
- A capacity to work and prioritize
independently, bringing in stakeholders and team members as necessary.
