Job Description:

UPSC is inviting applications for the National Defence Academy (NDA) & Naval Academy (NA) Examination II, 2023. This examination aims to select and train young candidates to become officers in the Indian Armed Forces. Key Responsibilities:

• Attend rigorous training at the National Defence Academy for Army, Navy, and Air Force cadets.
• Develop leadership skills, physical fitness, and professional competence required for a career in the armed forces.

• Participate in practical training exercises, drills, and sports activities to enhance overall development.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Nationality: Must be a citizen of India.
• Age Limit: Candidates must be between 16½ and 19½ years of age.
• Educational Qualifications: Candidates must have completed or appearing in 10+2 examination from a recognized board.

Selection Process:

• Written Examination: Candidates will undergo a written examination comprising two papers – Mathematics and General Ability Test.
• Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview conducted by the Services Selection Board (SSB).
• Medical Examination: Selected candidates will undergo a thorough medical examination to assess their fitness for military service.
