NorthOne is looking for a Product Manager, Banking to join our high performing team 🚀 We are a remote-first venture-backed startup at the heart of the FinTech movement that is reshaping the financial services and banking for small businesses across America. We are backed by some of the best VCs in the world and are solving important problems.

NorthOne is a business banking and financial management platform for small businesses across America. We don’t stop at being a faster, easier and simpler version of a bank - we’re focused on creating better financial outcomes for our customers by changing the definition of what a bank can be and do. We’re building a digital finance department for every small business in America with our business bank account as its foundation.

We ❤ product. As our Product Manager, Banking you’ll help us build the future of banking. Reporting to our Director of Product, you’ll be joining a team who have helped build companies like Chime, Twitter, Instacart, E-Trade, McKinsey, Etsy, eBay and more.

REQUIREMENTS

As Product Manager, Banking, you’ll be working on our core banking product. You’ll get to build solutions for important problems facing small business owners across the country, shape our product roadmap and help build a category defining FinTech product.

The skills required for this role -

You’ve worked in a high impact product management role for at least 3 years
You’ve had deep experience building magical digital customer experiences
You’re a skilled storyteller. You understand how create an ambitious roadmap and how to communicate your vision for a digital product to engineers and stakeholders
You are a natural problem solver and have a track record of building world class digital experiences
You’re the best listener in the room and understand how to get to the heart of a problem or question, even when it’s not the one being asked
You love to experiment and test solutions. You know how to interpret data to get to the right answer

Bonus points -

Experience in FinTech or financial services
Taken a digital product from 0 to 1 or worked on a major refactor of a digital product
Experience working as an Software Engineer with ReactJS and/or RESTful APIs
UI/UX design experience
You come from a family of small business owners
You have a non-traditional or diverse background (personal or professional). You’ve lived a life that is different, where you've been challenged or have chosen to challenge yourself
