Responsibilities
As a technology intern at
Fiserv, you will have the opportunity to go beyond the classroom and develop
your leadership skills. You'll work as part of a global support team,
collaborating with professionals across the enterprise. In addition to hands-on
experience, you will participate in scheduled activities throughout the summer,
including sessions with senior leaders, site tours, volunteer opportunities,
and social events. The internship program runs from June 5, 2023, to August 11,
2023, with interns expected to work approximately 40 hours per week.
Job Description
Fiserv is currently seeking
innovative and motivated Technology Interns to join our 10-week Summer
Internship Program. We offer internships in various technology areas such as
Application Development, Global & Cyber Security, Mobile Solutions, Network
Engineering, and Quality Assurance. Each internship provides comprehensive
training, mentorship, and on-the-job experiential learning.
As a technology intern, you
will work with our seasoned professionals and learn essential skills such as
coding, testing, and supporting application software. You'll collaborate with
senior analysts, contribute innovative suggestions, participate in quality
inspections, and support documentation of existing processes. Your assignments
will offer practical experience and broad exposure to our organization,
allowing you to make a tangible impact.
Qualifications
To be considered for the Fiserv
Technology Summer Internship, you should meet the following qualifications:
- Progress towards completion of a bachelor's
degree by December 2022 / May 2024, with a demonstrated academic
achievement
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 (3.5 or above preferred)
- Interest in learning and utilizing emerging
technologies such as Mobile, Payments, Cloud Computing, Information
Security, and Converging Markets
- Understanding of development processes and life
cycles preferred (Waterfall and SCRUM/Agile)
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
- Strategic and creative thinking abilities with
exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Must possess unrestricted work authorization
and not require future sponsorship
Desired Technical Qualifications
While not required, expertise
in the following technical areas would be advantageous:
- Microsoft .NET
- C# / C / C++
- ASP .NET
- Java
- JavaScript
- JCL
- Oracle
- Linux
- PowerBi
- ReactJS
Majors
