Texas Instruments is seeking talented Layout Engineers to join their team in developing multi-dimensional layouts and detailed drawings of semiconductor devices using computer-aided design (CAD) software. In this role, you will be responsible for checking dimensions, writing specifications, and verifying completed drawings. You will work closely with a team of professionals in the field, and strong communication skills are essential.

 

A typical day-to-day in this role includes creating layouts and drawings, reviewing and verifying completed designs, and collaborating with designers to ensure accuracy. The team at Texas Instruments is great because of their diverse backgrounds and perspectives that drive innovation forward. You will work most closely with designers and other layout engineers and will collaborate effectively with people in different functions.

During the first 30 days, you will ramp up on new systems and processes and work on projects such as designing semiconductor devices. Minimum requirements include a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with a cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA or higher. Preferred qualifications include strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills, the ability to take initiative and drive results, and the ability to work in teams.
