DUTIES &
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Ensure customer demand is
accurately translated to MLX and non-MLX manufacturing plants via purchase
documents.
2. To process all, expedite
requests sent by customer service and actively follow up with the manufacturing
plants to assure customer satisfaction
3. Coordinate the expedite
process between customer service and the Molex manufacturing plants.
4. To monitor and control all
aspects of the purchase document backlog, i.e. overdue, reschedules,
unscheduled, substitutions/replacements, returns to ensure MD04 is as clean as
possible
5. To manage the supply
delivery performance of Molex manufacturing plants and external vendors.
6. To support the allocation
process in cooperation with relevant stakeholders.
7. Monitor key performance
indicators and take appropriate actions required to meet set targets.
8. Undertake other duties as
requested by Management, which within the competence of the Post Holder
9. Support the periodic review
of inventory strategies and of demand planning selection
10. Work with Sales and Product
Managers on various order issues such as promising, delivery dates,
cancellations, and returns. Assists sales in determining standard pack and
minimum order quantities for part.
11. Support continuous
improvement processes
12. Participate and Contribute
to the development of GSC CoE with creative and innovative ideas
EDUCATION: REQUIRED:
• Any degrees (EX. Diploma, BA,
B.Sc & B.Com)
• In addition, good PC skills
(e.g. Microsoft excel), VBA knowledge are required.
• Knowledge in SAP PREFERRED:
English is essential whilst fluency in one of the other major languages would
be a distinct advantage. (French, Mandarin Chinese, German
WORK EXPERIENCE: REQUIRED:
Freshers with supply
chain/planning, procurement related function.
PREFERRED:
One year SAP experience is
desirable preferably gained in a supply chain/planning, procurement related
function. Applicants with less experience will be considered, but it may take
longer to be able to perform all duties as specified.

REQUIRED:
• The ideal candidate will be
self-assured and have an organized approach as she/he will be expected to work
independently in a high-pressure environment.
• Problem Solving and good
negotiation skills: Offer solutions and efficient responses to meet customer
requirements operating within the company guidelines and goals.
• Decision Making: Make
efficient decisions meeting customer requirements following company policies
and business guidelines.
• Communication skills to
liaise with internal and external contacts.
PREFERRED: The ideal candidate
will be proactive, flexible, shows genuine interest in customer needs and has a
sense of urgency. The candidate will have an organized approach, is expected to
work independently in a high-pressure environment and needs to show a sense of
urgency to address customer issues. Confidentiality is a requirement in this
position. Commercial sense is important as well as sensitivity to the needs of
others
