interview?

find out whether the targets set for you are to be met on a daily or weekly
basis. These answers will provide insight into what a standard day at the job
would look like and help you make your decision.
3. What are some projects/assignments I can immediately
take on?
You want to show your future employer that you are
enthused and won’t shy away from diving straight into the heart of things. This
will also give you a heads up on what you’ll be asked to work on once you join,
so you get plenty of time to prepare for it in advance.
4. Can you tell me a bit about the team I will be working
with?
Everyone says that they are a team player in a job
interview. But you can go a step further by actually inquiring about the team
you’ll be working with. More often than not, your employer will be happy to
offer a small recourse on their various roles, while also acknowledging that
you’re taking an interest in working alongside them before you’ve even started
the job! You can also query about who in the team you’ll be working most
closely with.
5. What would you want to see me accomplish in the first
six months?
In most Indian corporate companies, the first six months
at a new job will count as a “probation period”. If the concerned authorities
are satisfied with your performance at the end of these six months, then you
are officially absorbed into the company as a permanent full-time employee. To
this end, it is imperative that you ask about what the company would expect you
to accomplish by the end of these 90 days, so you can abide by the same.
6. How does the appraisal process work in this
organisation?
One of the most imperative questions to ask in a job
interview is about the company’s appraisal process. Does it take place on a
yearly basis, and what are the performance metrics you will be evaluated on?
