At Nokia we are seeking a StudentTrainee to join our Charging Business Line Services & Care Team, based in Portugal.

As a member Charging Business Line Services & Care Team, you will plan and execute NCC (a leading real-time rating and online charging application which provides an operator with voice/data in 4G/5G network) feature implementation & validation in an end-to-end network level testing environment. Charging BL Services & Team Team is responsible for deploying products in Charging domain.

As a self-starter, you will have the opportunity to verify NCC functionality including DevOps automated test, call processing, database, system recovery, measurements, and software release update in a fast-paced environment. In this role you will interact and work with internal Nokia and external customer teams globally.

What you will learn and contribute to

As part of our team, you will:

Installing configuring and Integrating software systems

Learn to Technology exploration, developing software solution modules and components from specifications.

Learn to design business processes and workflows

Learn to Documenting and unit testing software implementations

Working closely with technical lead, peer developers and testers
Help troubleshooting and fixing issues related to software implementations

Your skills and experience

You have:

Studying Bachelors or Master's Degree in Engineering (Compueter science/ Electronics and communications) with strong interest in Telecom Software
Fluent English both in verbal and written
Good foundation and understanding of programming concepts and principles
Knowledge in Java and Python Programming language

It would be nice if you also had:

Knowledge in Machine Learning concepts
Knowledge in Database and Data structures
Knowledge in UNIX-based operation systems with Linux/Unix command line experience
Knowledge on Cloud based Infrastructure with Kubernetes and docker Containers is a plus
