The role


To be a successful Academy Associate in this track at the entry level you must possess a general financial / business knowledge, a passion for customer excellence, customer relationship building, negotiation, forecasting, and complex decision-making.

 

You will learn to analyze market trends and research reports, with a penchant for drawing insight. 

You will also learn how to develop and utilize marketing-related activities such as events, seminars, mailing, and call campaigns to increase brand awareness and presence in the local market.

 

At the SoftwareONE Academy, we will provide you with a general knowledge of all SoftwareONE solutions and service offerings, internal and external standard operating procedures, and close following of vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders. You will become a valuable addition to a team that sells and promotes the solutions and services offered by SoftwareONE,

 

Once assigned to a team and on the job, you will be expected to familiarize yourself with the scope of work committed by SoftwareONE to each customer your team engages with. You will assist the project manager to track and update project timelines, liaising between relevant teams internally, ensuring project timelines are met, highlighting red flags, and documenting everything – meetings, updates, issues raised, solutions provided, etc. You will track and follow up with client finance teams for pending payments and so on.

 

From day one your friendly, skilled colleagues will mentor you to ensure you’re able to deliver value to our teams and customers quickly and efficiently. You will gain broad experience ensuring you are a well-rounded professional before you go on to choose your path of deep specialization. You will be assigned a variety of tasks, in rotation, that contribute to catering to the needs of existing SoftwareONE customers and showcasing to existing and potential customers the solutions SoftwareONE offers.

 

At SoftwareONE, you will have the chance to experience a broad range of technologies, working on Enterprise class tools across cutting-edge platforms

What we need to see from you


We are looking for people who feel a passion for sales as a profession and a strong inclination towards healthy negotiation practices. We want people with the desire to make a strong career in Information Technology Sales and Consulting.

 

You must have excellent communication and customer service skills, written and spoken. You will also learn how to develop and utilize marketing-related activities such as events, seminars, mailing, and call campaigns to increase brand awareness and presence in the local market.

 

We need you to have an aptitude for, and interest in learning technologies SoftwareONE offers:
