Position Summary
The junior software developer
is responsible for assisting the design, implementation, and maintenance of
software to meet the needs of Ametek Land. The programmer will work
with the team to understand requirements, help develop specifications, test and
write software applications.
- Assisting the development team with all aspects
of software design and coding.
- Learning the codebase and improving your coding
skills.
- Writing and maintaining code.
- Working on bug fixes.
- Monitoring the technical performance of
internal systems.
- Responding to requests from the development
team.
- Gathering information from stakeholders about
program functionality.
- Conducting development tests.
Requirements
- Knowledge of basic coding languages including
C#
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Visual Studio
programming environment
- Basic programming experience.
- Knowledge of databases and Windows operating
systems.
- Ability to learn new software and technologies
quickly.
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a
team environment.
