Pre-Stressed Concrete (PSC) Sleepers for the railway industry.
Strescon Industries Limited (SIL), part of the MUNSHI group, runs it's PSC
Sleepers business from Calcutta. During the last ten years, Strescon Industries
Limited (SIL) has positioned itself as the industry leader in production of
various types of Railway PSC Sleepers.
The Products range includes:
Mono Block Concreter Sleepers
PSC Sleepers for Turn Out
PSC SEJ Sleepers
PSC Level X-ing Sleepers
Curve Sleepers
These are offered through a comprehensiv package of design, manufacture and
unrivalled delivery service by Road and Rail. The factory being strategically
positioned on a line-siding on the Howrah - Guwahati line and very near to the
national highway.
Using the Short Bench Production Method, the factory has a production capacity
of 3,00,000 Sleepers a year to cater to the growing demand of PSC Sleepers in
the country and adjoining Bangladesh.
Job Description
- Supervising the manufacturing processes,
ensuring quality work is done in a safe, efficient manner.
- Liaising with other engineers to develop plans
that improve production, costs, and labor required.
- Diagnosing problems in the production line and
providing recommendations and training.
- Establishing safety procedures and protocols
that take the workers' well-being into account, and that also minimize the
carbon footprint.
- Keeping abreast of advancements in engineering
and production, and sharing knowledge with co-workers.
