Role Description

Job Purpose: Ensure smooth functioning of machines and other equipments in all user departments through preventive, predictive maintenance, taking quick and Corrective action in case of breakdowns, allotting work to technicians and ensure proper adherence to Asset care Programme.

Key Performance Indicators

• Adherence to laid down system and process wrto Safety , Environment and Quality
• Preparation of Budget for own work area
• Adherence to Annual Maintenance Contract , Preventive & predictive maintenance Schedule , Statutory Schedule , Calibration Schedule
• Shut down Planning • Management of Spares
• Development of New vendors • Adherence to Purchase process
• Development of solution for energy saving , Improvement of Productivity , reduce fatigue etc
• Planning and execution of Projects in time
• System non-compliance • Uptime of equipment
• Schedule and Planned compliance of Preventive and Predictive Maintenance
• Number of Breakdown
• Adherence to Committed timelines
• On time implementation of CAPA
• Innovations

Scope of Work

a) Financial Scope (Range of financial spend):

b) People Management Scope (Range of no. of Direct/ Indirect Reports): • Direct Reports: Technicians (Total number of technicans in the department is 50) & Contract workmen

c) Geography Coverage (Country- wide/ State-wide / Area-wide) • North India : Kasna (UP) & Rohtak(Haryana)

• West India : Bhandup (Mumbai) , Khandala (Maharashtra) & Ankleshwar(Gujarat)
• South India : Sriperumbudur (Chennai) , Patancheru (Hyderabad)

d) Corporate Coverage (Company-wide / Business Unit or Function-wide / Sub-function-wide / Other):

• Plant Engineering & Mantech Key Interactions Internal
• Plant Team : Planning , Production , standardisation , Admin and Accounts , Quality , Safety , Environment External
• Vendors • Original Equipment Manufacturers
• Consultants • Statutory bodies ( Boiler , W&M, Lifts , CCOE, Electrical Inspector, Factory Inspector)

Role Requirements / Specifications Qualifications Essential • Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical / Electrical/Instrumentation from top ranked engineering institution of India

• 60% & above marks in Academics all over (10th/12th/Graduation) Desired • Energy manager / Energy Auditor certification Functional Competencies
• Knowledge in Maintenance of pumps , heat exchangers , Motors ; Measurement techniques & calibration. • Basic engineering such as Alignment , Vibration measurement , P&ID , Preparation of BOM ,Cost estimate
