Job description

Roles and Responsibilities

We are looking for a creative Mechanical Engineer to work on all product stages from development to design and manufacture, through to installation.

1. Work on the mechanical design of motor housing, water jackets, shaft, rotor-stator laminations, etc.

2. Select appropriate materials required for housing, shaft, etc.

3. Work on modeling, simulation, and NVH analysis of electric motors

4. Study the possible failure modes like bearing wear, rotor imbalance, misalignment of the shaft, etc. and take corrective/preventive actions

5. Develop and test the prototypes

6. Coordinate with suppliers for lamination cutting, stacking, rotor-stator assembly, and complete motor integration

7. Work on engineering drawings, concept sketches, and 2D/3D CAD models Skill(s) required SolidWorks ANSYS Autodesk Fusion 360
