in the world.We’re seeking a high calibre individual who has significant
experience in driving the business rhythm, building and implementing a data
analytics framework to help with key strategic and operations decisions on
WhatsApp payments features and services as well as identify strategic
initiatives to support WhatsApp payments growth in India. This role will work
closely with the WhatsApp Payments team and other cross functional teams and
will be part of the India Strategy & Operations team which is part of the
Global Business Planning and Operations group. The mission of the Global
Business Planning and Operations group is to maximize business performance by
being the trusted partner to the organization – through strategic planning,
operational excellence and cross-functional collaboration. This is a full-time
position based in Gurgaon.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize
and implement the data analytics framework for new features like payments
- Develop
the portfolio framework for customer lifecycle management
- Identify
key business input and output metrics to grow and manage the health of
customer portfolio
- Build/maintain
reports, dashboards, and metrics that equips the organization to scale
their product offerings successfully
- Design,
build, and launch efficient & reliable data pipelines
- Engage
in discussions to identify problems, quantify and improve the quality of
workflows through data analysis
- Run
SQL queries, provide reports or updates
- Build
data expertise and own data quality and documentation for allocated areas
of ownership
- Provide
technical supports to maintain existing data processes and code reviews
- Work
with cross-functional teams including partnerships, business, product and
consumer marketing, data science and data engineering to understand data
needs and create efficient and scalable data solutions and documentation
Minimum Qualification
- BA/BS
in Business, Computer Science, Math, Physics, Engineering, Statistics or
other relevant fields
- 6+
years working experience
- Advanced
SQL skills.
- Experience
with AWS and ETL
- Demonstrated
problem solving ability with experience providing practical business
insights from large, complex data sets
- Strong
project management and influencing skills, ability to lead and influence
stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Ability
to work independently and cross functionally
Preferred Qualification
- Experience
in payments industry is an advantage
- Experience
in data visualisation e.g. Tableau
- Experience
using languages and packages such as Python, R, MATLAB, SPSS, SAS, Stata,
etc
- Experience
with large data sets and distributed computing (Hive/Hadoop)
