Job Overview:
Sr. Specialist provides strategic support to the business
unit by consulting on hiring needs, sourcing & selection process,
diversity, compliance, timeline and expectation setting. Through partnering
with his/her clients, the Recruiting Specialist gains a thorough understanding
of the business forecast and staffing plans as well as the complexities and
dynamics of the business. Sr. Specialist provides guidance to hiring managers
to aide in the selection of the strongest candidate, negotiates offers and
start dates, and ensures a smooth onboarding process for the new hires. Sr.
Specialist coordinates across the Operations & Recruiting teams to ensure
the effective execution of the hiring process. This person reports to
Recruitment Manager for the respective business unit.
Responsibility Areas:
Business Partnership: Establish stronger partnership with
Hiring Managers, more consultative approach
- Work with business Resource Managers to gather hiring demand forecast.
- Manage internal client relationships and provide guidance and insight in the presentation and selection of candidates. Educate clients on market conditions and trends.
- Conduct intake session with hiring manager to understand the position demand requirements and hiring manager expectations to ensure high quality candidates are sourced
- Coordinate across Operations, Sourcing, and Recruiting teams to set and achieve client expectations of cost, time, and quality.
- Participating in weekly/monthly/quarterly meetings with the business to provide requisition level update as well as present Hiring dashboard
- Develop deep assessment expertise on candidates
Execute Recruiting Plans in partnership with Sourcing,
Operations & Business HR Advisors
- Partner with Sourcing team on specific market mapping to be conducted for aligned business as and when required
- Source, Lead and manage the candidate interview, offer and onboarding process with administrative support from Operations team
- Drive sourcing mix for aligned business group .Drive efficiency of Employee Referral
- Build strong relationships with candidates (both internal and external), ensure optimal candidate experience, and positively represent Aon.
Enhance metrics to deliver market and client impact
- Ensure Taleo data integrity as well as TA Process compliance to enable meaningful and accurate data/metrics to influence decision making
- Manage offer process including approvals from hiring manager & Business Leader on compensation package, level and start date of candidate.
- Manage documentation process compliance prior to presenting offer to candidates. Communicate offer details to Operations team for processing. .
- Monitor successful completion of background check prior to start, pre-hire activities, and on time joins.
- Adhere to the Talent Acquisition Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Manage candidate engagement process post selection.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements and labor laws.
Desired Skills and Experience
Knowledge & Experience:
- 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in Recruiting
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated executive presence
- Direct, hands-on experience with automated human resource workflow systems e.g. TALEO
- Diverse experience of sourcing/hiring across different levels in the organization
- Exposure to Social Media Strategy implementation for Talent Acquisition is desirable
Open to work in shift - 12 pm - 9 pm
