Job Description for Advertising Purposes
Job Description:

The person should be able to work with minimal supervision and using his/her skills be able to lead small project or test effort. Position will include, but not restricted to the following responsibilities:

1. Design and Develop software test scripts.
2. Participate in data creation
3. Install, Update & Upgrade of software and related testing
4. Test scenario writing based on requirements.
5. Develope understadning of functional requirements and related testing
5. Write and maintain test automation scripts
6. Identify and track software defects through resolution.
7. Efficiently troubleshoot problems and drive to resolution.
8. Develop expertise in the product & technical area


Job Requirements:

1. CS or equivalent background
2. 1 - 3 years of experience in software testing and understanding of XML
3. Hands on experience - preferabley in enterprise level software installation, update & upgrade on various servers & OS.
4. Knowledge of software practices, especially Agile Scrum
5. Team player
6. Hands on programming experience would be an added advantage

Skills good to have:

1. Good understanding of XML, Xpath etc
2. Previous experience in testing enterprise web based product applications would be preferable.
