Job Description:
Creative Analysts are the foundation of YSM’s Search Creative Development team, providing a core resource to a wide range of advertisers in support of their search marketing campaigns. Whether it’s helping a new advertiser create their first successful YSM campaign, or helping a long-time advertiser identify ways to grow and improve the performance of their advertisements, Creative Analysts use their search marketing and YSM editorial expertise to partner with our sales organization to provide a compelling and value-added customer experience. On a daily basis, Creative Analysts will be relied on to help advertisers identify new keywords, effectively structure their campaigns and/or develop new creatives to drive the performance of their spend with YSM.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Work closely in a team environment to provide development advice and implementation for advertisers, including finding new keywords, developing and/or improving ad copy, and structuring accounts.
- Be an expert in all relevant Content Development and Account Management tools so that for any particular problem, you can choose the most effective and efficient tool without the need for explicit processes or rules.
- Be an expert on YSM guidelines and search marketing best practices. You should be able to apply these to your daily activities and work closely with your sales counterparts to communicate these directly to advertisers.
- Should be flexible and contribute to the on-going success of the broader Content Solutions Team by taking part in ad hoc projects.
Basic Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of all facets of search marketing and best practice campaign development & management, and a willingness to continue to stay contemporary on trends within the industry
- Ability to solve problems and identify opportunities through the use of analytics and critical thinking
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to “think on their feet” and speak professionally to both internal and external customers
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Must be a graduate
- Strong working knowledge of ad development best practices
- Experience servicing and/or consulting in a vendor/client relationship
- University degree preferred or equivalent work experience in a related field
- Knowledge of broader marketing & advertising trends and frameworks
Selection Criteria:
- Stage 1 Test (Meritrac)
- Business specific tests in Stage 2.
- On successful completion of Stage 2 tests, Personal Interviews will be scheduled.
