Part of Group Technology & Operations, Global Business Services (Operations) encompasses the people and processes that back up global deal-making. Every day, they make sure that billions of trades are settled, risk is minimized and clients are satisfied.
Primary Job Responsibilities
Ensure accurate and timely delivery of services to clients
Ensure specified quality of services at all levels of operations
Ensure healthy and harmonious relationship with the sending locations
Interface with the client / agent / custodian for resolution via client calls / emails.
Ensure he/she has assisted in creating proper backup through adequate cross training, within the department
Responsible for managing productivity, accuracy and timeliness as per benchmark requirements
Escalate all issues properly to the appropriate level to avoid any adverse impact on the business
Generating reports in order to obtain periodic information on the inquiries received
Should have basic settlement knowledge.
Personal Attributes
Strong written & verbal English skills required. Ability to converse clearly with internal and external staff via telephone and using written communication.
Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment, to prioritize multiple tasks, and to meet strict deadlines.
Excellent communication and client handling skills.
Strong team player.
Willingness to work in Night Shift
Experience +Education Criteria
Graduate / PG with relevant experience.
Graduate with good academic background
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Relevant financial services experience will be an added advantage
Day to Day Activities
• Matching the Equity trades for all economic details and Instructions with the clients
• Inventory management of the stock across markets
• Reconciliation of the Nostro & Depot breaks across markets
• Noting of all Trades/Breaks/task in the system within time as per noting conventions
• Risk Reporting of High value and Unmatched trades
• Interacting (Calls & mails) with the clients, Brokers, exchanges to clear any discrepancies on the trades
• Interacting (Calls & mails) with internal clients (Middle Office, Static teams etc) for any amendments required on the trades
• Escalating any potential issues as per process requirements
