This project is the India's single largest green-field integrated automobile project with an investment of Rs. 4500 Crores and an installed annual capacity of 4,00,000 vehicles.
The 640-acre plant is situated at SIPCOT Industrial Park, Oragadam in Sriperumbudur Taluk, Kancheepuram District.
Our Honble CM and Dy CM inaugurated the plant on March 2010 and the first car (Nissan Micra) was rolled out on May 2010.

Hi, it's good news. I inherited a Renault super 5 in 1990. Its got 672 000 kilometers and runs like the first day i bought it. Oil, gas, regular cleaning and just go! In my opinion the french make the best cars in the world. (i live in france but i am not french). I now have a citroen ds4, and to me it looks like the french finally understood how to build quality. I will never get my money stolen by german BMW imperialism. Trust me, french cars are good. thanks!
